Information Literacy Toolkit: Developing a Research Question

It is common for students to struggle when choosing topic and finding a research question. These assignments, one developed for an upper division undergraduate class and the other for a freshmen-level class, guide students through the process. The assignment used with upper division students can be introduced and started during a library instruction session. The freshmen level assignment can be introduced and completed during a library instruction session.
