Finding books and book chapters
- PSU Library CatalogSearches the holdings of PSU's and Summit's catalogs of books, journals, DVDs, etc. Descriptions of books often include chapter titles.
- Google BooksGoogle Books offers a full text search engine of millions of titles. While the full text of the book may not be available or may be only partially avaiable, you can think of Google Books as a fabulous index to all the books it has scanned.
- WorldcatSearches the holdings of PSU, Orbis Cascade Alliance, local public and most North American libraries. Book descriptions include individual chapter titles. Some article citations are also included.

Subject Headings
Most databases support remarkable keyword searching capability which is great as the search engine finds the words you've used in your search statement. That said, there's another very powerful search strategy available to you, ie searching using a databases native subject headings or controlled vocabulary.
Academic library databases use the Library of Congress Subject Heading system in their catalog records. Some headings of potential interest for research in publishing include:
