Using the PSU Library

Students may use their student IDs to check out materials, and their ODIN account credentials to access online library resources. 

Students may always ask a librarian for research help and may choose to attend any number of workshops offered by the library.

Collections at PSU

The PSU Library serves the many areas of teaching and learning that happens at Portland State. As a public institution, the PSU Library also serves the general public.

When it comes to Health Systems & Policy, the PSU Library's collection strengths are in the areas related to social sciences. Topics such as health policy, health economics, social aspects of medicine, and the social determinants of health, for example, can be found in the Library's collection. We also hold both federal and state government documents, ebooks and books in a wide variety of social sciences disciplines. Using the many other research guides in related disciplinary areas will help you navigate resources offered by the PSU Library.

Using the OHSU Library

OHSU LogoThe OHSU Library is located in the Biomedical Information Communication Center (BICC) building on the OHSU Marquam Hill campus. Enter the building on the 3rd floor (one floor up from street level).

Log in to OHSU databases and resources using either your OHSU Login or PSU Login credentials.

Students may always ask a librarian for research help. Additionally, students are encouraged to set up to take a class on a wide variety of topics that will assist with research skills.

Collections at OHSU

The OHSU Library serves the many teaching, research, and clinical areas of OHSU. The Library also provides consumer health information services to the public.

When it comes to Health Systems & Policy, the OHSU Library's collections strengths are in clinically focused areas. Epidemiology, biostatistics, clinical and bench research are particular areas of the collection's strength.
