- National Center for Health StatisticsCompiles statistical information to guide actions and policies to improve the health of U.S. citizens.
- World DataBank (World Bank data)Contains data for countries and country groups covering financial, business, health, economic and human development statistics.

- Historical Statistics of the United States - Millennial EditionConsists of U.S. demographic and economic statistics from colonial times to the present.

- National Center for Education Statistics (NCES)Features data related to education collected and analyzed by the U.S. federal government. Includes reviews and reports on the state of international education too.
- National Center for Health StatisticsCompiles statistical information to guide actions and policies to improve the health of U.S. citizens.
- SAMHSA's Office of Applied StatisticsCollects the latest national data on alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, and other drug abuse including data on drug related emergency department episodes, medical examiner cases, and about the nation's substance abuse treatment system.
Primary Sources
- Plowshares: Digital Archive for Peace StudiesArchives primary documents such as minutes, diaries, correspondence, pamphlets, newspapers and periodicals from the 1700s to the present. Chronicles the social justice efforts of the students and faculty of Earlham, Goshen, and Manchester colleges as well as the members of their affiliated historic peace-churches; the Quakers, Mennonites and the Church of the Brethren.
