- Catalog of Federal Domestic AssistanceIssued every six months it includes all federal grants available and detailed information on how to apply.
- FundsnetThis Fundraising & Grants Directory is provided at no cost to visitors. Since 1996 Fundsnet Services has provided Grantwriting & Fundraising resource information to those in need of funding for their programs & initiatives. Opportunities are browse-able by category - or you can search the entire site using the box in the upper right corner.
- GuidestarContains descriptions of and financial data on over 860,000 nonprofit organization. Information is compiled from tax returns filed with the Internal Revenue Service, and includes each charity's assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenditures. Provides access to 990-PF tax returns, which itemize grants given by private foundations. Maintained by Philanthropic Research, a nonprofit group in Williamsburg, Virginia.
- Grants from the Small Business AdministrationMost grantmakers in the US do NOT give grants to for-profit enterprises. The US's Small Business Administration, however, does offer some very specific grant opportunities which you can learn about here.
