Note that content on JSTOR is often at least three or four years old, with a few exceptions. When you are looking for the most current journal articles, start with America: History and Life.

- America: History and LifeIncludes citations of articles and books on the history and culture of the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
- Humanities and Social Sciences Index Retrospective (H.W. Wilson)Indexes citations to articles from scholarly social science and humanities journals from 1907 to 1984.
- JSTORContains full text articles from major research journals in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. Coverage of most journals starts from the beginning of a journal's publication and typically excludes the most recent three to five years.
Search for books at the PSU Library
Search the PSU Library catalog. If the book you want has a green "Available at PSU Library Shelves", then click on the title of the book. Write down the location or floor and the call number. For a map to locate the call number, click on View Map.

Five Steps to Finding eBooks
Step 1
Starting on the PSU Library homepage , type in your search terms in the search box. You can search by author, title, or keyword topic.
Step 2
Log in using your Odin username and password.
Step 3
On the results page, refine results to eBooks.
Step 4
Select PSU Online Resources under the Availability limit (ebooks are not transferable from other libraries).
Step 5
Click Online Access to view the access point.
Step 6
Click available on at to view the ebook.
